It is fine to avoid the pasta, toppings, salad dressing that may contain almond or any tree nut in any form. However mild, the nut is good enough to give you the allergy in the form of a rash, hives or irritation. People with multi allergy must deal very carefully while eating outside or dining in a hotel. Even if you are invited to a party at a close friend's home, it would be good if you can mention the allergy so that there is no emergency situation. Some people have multi allergy like lactose intolerance or even saturated fats. Though it takes time to know the allergy it is better to have a clear idea of what is served in your plate.

Peanut which is an underground nut is not typically considered as a nut. But still, people typically suffer from peanut allergy. While a great looking cuisine is served for you, make sure there is no form of crushed, blanched or processed form of peanut served in your plate. While eating outside, you can mention all your food allergies so there is no confusion.

Also it is advisable to carry the anti allergen topical cream or tablets with you so that there is no panic situation. It is always wise to carry a list of doctors contact number and the name of your hospital just in case there is a problem owing to accidental eating of a particular nut.
